Bouncy 197

Right,

So I was having a play on a round about last night, was pushing quite hard, the car had grip but it was obviously hitting rough bits in the road which was causing it to bounce and slide with all 4 wheels, then grip, then bounce then slide etc...

What caused this? Dampers too stiff??

Its a 197 cup!

my 172 did this, but both my rear shocks had gone!

Given how light your car is, could be the dampers are too stiff. Be suprised if the dampers had gone already.

Hmm Im guessing youre right mate!

I was thinking softer springs but if its the dampers....???:S

My 197 was bouncy rather than skittish. I would expect stiff suspension to make a car skittish rather than bouncy.
