Boxes that arrived today

After trying to decide which way to go with my wheels I made a decision; I couldn't decide between keeping with turinis silver or going to anthracite

Decided I really like the silver on my iceberg cup A couple of the wheels were in pretty desperate need of a refurb, but I also fancied having a couple of spares for track use, so I ordered myself a couple of new silver turinis to replace the corroding curbed ones

The damaged ones can now be refurbed at my leisure too :approve:

They do look great being all new; I'll see how they look when they're on the car, but may end up ordering another two if the newness makes them look different to the older ones already on the car

Any recommendations for what to use to seal/wax them? Really wanting to protect them as much as possible against road salt, etc

I've used SmartWax rim wax in the past and been pretty happy with it

Well I've not cleaned my wheels for over 2 months, and nearly 3k, and they still look fairly clean

I'd imagine they've seen little to no protection from corrosion in the past 6 years though :dapprove:

Picked up some EGP yesterday, so could get the wheels sorted and ready using I did one wheel yesterday, then the other one this afternoon

Started with AG SRP

While buffing it off

Then it was the EGP. After leaving it to dry for 30-40 minutes

After the EPG layer

Just gave them a final buff over after this and job done! rockin' :approve:
