Brake Change

  Nissan 370Z
Im wanting to change the brakes straight away when i get my car.
Very important to do so i believe.

There are so many set ups though!

Just want some good front discs and pads.

Was thinking the brembo hc front disks with ebc greenstuff pads?

This will just be for fast road use, no tracks. OR would the mintex 1144pads be better?

Thanks

according to what people think on here do not go for EBC, either the ferodo's or the mintex's. Brembo Hc seem to be everyones favourite discs aswell.

Before slating EBC, try them first.

I've got yellowstuff on mine, not even bedded in yet, and the bite they offer over the OE pads is rediculous in comparison

Not expensive either! Not sure what fitting costs will be like though to be honest from a garage!
The ferodo ds2500 are abit steep in price for pads tbh

Am just going of what people say on here, not many go for the EBC as they fade. i have done alot of reading peoples opinions as i am upgrading mine aswell, worth doing some researh.

if you good with your hands there is a guide how to do it.

Fitting front pads is really easy. Two bolts to undo the carrier, lift it out, push caliper back, pop pads back in, bolt back down.

Reading peoples oppinions is exactly that. An oppinion.

I've had a f**king good go at trying to get my pads to fade, not been anywhere near.

I've run a few compounds, yellowstuff were the worst by a fair distance. I'd go for the mintex, they will fade with track use though.

if i was you i would read a few brake threads first get some knowledge on them, type yellowstuff and mintex in the search see which seem better.

Mintex pads from KAM racing and Brembo HC disks, that what i run on the road amnd it came to circa £100 for the lot, then i bolted it all on myself
