BRAKE COMPENSATOR SPRING MISSING

Just picked my car up after having it's CAM/AUX belt service


The additional notes on my invoice state that the rear brake compensator spring is missing.


What does this spring do and do I need to replace it asap:S.

Can you buy this from a stealer on its own and roughly how much is one??



Easy to fit??

No mention of the actuating arm being missing just the spring:S

Unless you knew that the Cup didn't have one (which few would off the top of thier head) then they did the right thing by pointing it out. I'd wager there are a few garages that wouldn't even have noticed.

Took it to a french car specialist.

I surpose at least it means they gave the car a good going over.


I can only assume they don't see many CUP'S.
