Brake compensator valve

They fixed it yesterday and it feels very different. You can now feel the weight transfer to the front wheels when braking. Feels much more secure now that the rear brakes are not braking 50/50 with the fronts.

Good news, my Cups due for its first service in a few weeks time, Im planning to get the valve changed then.

Ask them to inspect the valve against the correct part. If it is the wrong one fitted, like mine, they will find it has a link missing.

I think some of the Cups have 172 ones fitted in error.

Mine is apprently ok (checked against reg on ACTIS) but it does make the "clunk" noise...

Just because it makes a noise, dont mean theres a problem!

mine only clunks now if I give the pedal more than a light press. Before it would clunck as soon as I felt the slightest of resistance and released it quickly.
