Brake cooling deflector picture and genius request

Finally remembered why I'd gone into this section!

I'm in the process of fitting brake ducts as I'm going to start doing a few track days and have previously had some heat spots on the discs.

After much deliberation I'm going to have to mount the pipe ending at the arch liner and then use a deflector plate to aim it at the discs. Unfortuantely I don't think the 4" pipe will clear with the wheel on lock.

Just wondering what designs people have for this.

I'd love a pic of some cup racer ones so I can replicate them (iIve seen the ones in the for sale section, very flat photo). I've done a search and found a few, mainly danfreemans and 1 on overclockers.

Its going to be a proper job as I hate bodging stuff like this.

This is where I'm at so far.

They look too long to me and will fowl when you turn the wheel. Stop just at where they reach the arch liner then use a deflector like mine.

Ahh lovely. Thank you. I did them long to give me flexibility in case I was able to attach a metal plate to the hub and run a cooling plate. Are those cup racer deflectors or fabricated?

Still keen to see how other people have done theirs :)
