Silicone fluid also has other advantages, it does not damage paintwork and it does not absorb water.

This.

I don't even understand what it is you're asking.

You just said it's made no difference to the rattle can paint.

Answering your own question ftw?

I cut a brake hose off a car in the scrappy once and dribbled the fluid down the rear quarter, went back a week later and it was unmarked.

If you want to strip paint just use nitromors?

  soon to be 182 ;)
what i was saying is it ment to strip paint because the stuff i had didnt, and i would use nitromors but im 17 and cant buy it

So the brake fluid you've got on your paint has damaged is yes?

What is it on? how big is is the damage?

Youd be better off sanding the damage area off and patching it in after a clean down of the brake fluid area....?

Dont go stripping it all back to metal and creating more of a job than there is needed to be...
