brake fluid question

changing my brakes tomorrow. i realise when you force the piston in the caliper back in, it will push brake fluid back up towards the resevoir.

ive read some places loosening the cap on the resevoir is something to do. is it necesarry?

or if i was to loosen the cap should i replace any fluid that comes out?

Yeah you gotta loosen it or you'll have to be superman to push the piston back in

Unlikely that any will come out the top tbh

Plus you might well blow the master clyinder seals the wrong way and then that just a pain.

ok. the resevoir is the small white/opaque coloured one at the drivers side at the back of the engine right? with a cable coming out the top.
