Brake labour charges

Hi,

I have got Brembo HC disks and Ferodo pads for the front and standard disks and pads for the back of my 172.

Just called a Renault Specialist and they £120 labour to fit them.

Seems a bit steep? I was thinking around £50 labour or am I way out?

probably based it off book time which i would say would be 1hour per axle, in reality the whole lot "could" be done in an hour but you can run into issues (rust, seized sliders etc)

i would charge 1.5hours, also as you've supplied the parts they've missed out on their "cut" therefore book time is only fair really

Doesn't sound that bad to me, Renault wanted to charge me £100 to fit front discs and pads which were to be bought from them. I'll be going elsewhere.

I've been down to before mate and you did a good job.

How much do you charge for labour these days?
