My missus phoned me up to say that the brake lights were on all the time on the way back from work. (She uses the 172 during the week - I get to play at weekends).
I gave it my usual patronising bit.
"Have you got the rear fogs on ?"
"Is your handbag resting on the pedal ?"
But no ! - When I had a look, the brake light switch, which clicks onto the top front of the brake pedal, was hanging off. Its in a dodgy place, and if you happen to kick your feet up when getting in or out of the car, you can catch the switch.
Just one to be aware of peeps...........
