Brake lines ? Discs ? Pads ? Advice

Hi i have a clio 182 an am thinkin about upgrading the brakes
i was thinking something like :

front Discs : Brembo max
front pads : ferodo ds3000
lines : goodridge braided
fluid : Not sure what one to use but would like 5.1

an jus leave the back standard(apart from braided lines) till a later date

would this be a good setup and would the braking performance be much of an improvement?


I may start doing some track days and stuff so

What makes you say hc's aint the max better discs , and why ds 2500's ?
And do you agree with the goodridge braided lines ?
never really upgraded brakes before so need as much info an advice as i can get ?

max are a waste of time and they wear out quicker

brake lines - any

pads - 2500's are fine for most people, 3000's are only needed if you are an advanced driver who does a lot of track days

if its a road car leave it standard

and the winner is......!!!

Plain Brembos are cheaper and last longer, pads will last longer too. Can't see why you would want DS3000 on a car you will drive to the circuit.
With fluid look at the bottle and read the temperature ratings. A good DOT 4 will be better than a bad DOT 5.1. Probably regular changes is better than spending masses of money.

I tend to apply pressure to stop, then release to progress forwards.
