Right just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem?
Car is a 02 172 cup, lowered 40mm on coilovers.
I didnt think much of the braking as without it having any sort of aids to help i was expecting it to be ding, but the brakes are shocking.
Front discs have been uprated to grooved ones and am thinking of getting mintex pads. Any good?
Anyway a mate told me that most cars have a sensor that distributes braking force between front and back depending on weight. (ie more weight at front more stopping power at front)
But he said that if your car is lowered then it fools the sensor into thinking there is more weight at back (cause car is lower) so sends more power to back.
He also said that these sensors can become 'seized' and that is maybe why the brakes dont seem as good as they should.
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem or heard of this sensor?
Cheers
