Brake squeak..

Hi,
new to the forums, used to be a member with a RSi Clio, but have since got hold of a PH2 172, which is very nice!

The car came with 1 year MOT but the brakes squek when normal braking, is this normal or am i in for new discs and/or pads.

What pads are they?

Some of the more aggressive pads will squeel until they're warm.

Mine do alot, never thought about the cold/warm thing though.

My dad reccommended giving them a good spray when I'm washing to get rid of any excess stuck dust. Water drys but dust doesn't.
