guessing it could be the switch??? any ideas is this something i could fix?

Disconnect it, see if its still sticking on, if it is, its the wiring, if its not, its the switch.
Then you can ask renault / partco for prices on the switch, then garages how much to fit it.
Never done it myself sorry, why dont you take a look, and see what you think, unless your not technically minded.

See if the switch at th ebrake pedal has moved out of postion
it's all three that are stuck on incase anyone is wondering
You may have accidently disconnected the wiring which sits above your feet near the pedals. It's easy to do, I did this with my clumsy feet, popped down to renault and the guy had a quick look and reconnected it in about 5 seconds. Have a look and see if you can spot any loose/broken connections.
