Brakes.

  No more clio's for me!
Interested in getting uprated brakes front and rear, cars done 56k on original discs they seem ok atm, so their probably need doing in about 7-10k, which will be about 6 months.

What kits are the best?
Price - Not looking to spend the earth but open to suggestions?
What have you got?
Whats the biggest size i can get under the standard 16's?
Fitting costs?
Is there any difference from standard discs?
Pics?

Thanks for the advice in advance,
Dan

Most people will tell you to stick with the OEM disks and just get some uprated pads like Tar.OX or something .

If've you've no problems with stock I'd keep with it nw pads are £40 or so and new disks £60 for the front. Then say £10 for new fluid (best bleed the setup whilsts your at it).
however if you want something uprated I'd go for the Yozasport ds2500s kit its £199 delivered with new disk, harder ds2500 pads and braided lines. Its a superb setup for track use. You won't get it any cheaper realy.
No need for fancy disks they only crack (in the case of fancy disks). No need for bigger disk get the Yozzasport 4 pots there better value.
Fitting cost your looking at about £40 then say £20 for bleeding the fluid. You can do it yourself though for free takes about 40 minutes to do the brakes and say 20 to do the bleeding and you need a brake bleeding kit.

cheers edde, yozzasport was the first place i looked.

Think the DS2500 kit will be the ones i go for. Is it best to keep the rear as OEM standards and just uprate the pads?

Cheers again.
