Brembo HC's, wierd machined groove on them!

Hi

Just had a set of front Brembo HC's delivered. On one of the discs, on the top of the disc, where you can see the vents it has a 2/3 inch long machined groove that is a few mm into the disc! Is this normal?

It is only on the one disc, the other disc has all the Brembo writing and product details, then this one has this weird groove. It doesn;t affect the actual disc from what I can see, just wondering if anybody else has this and if it is normal or not?

balancing done from the factory. Sometimes they have to machine some away. Quite normal

Thanks mate. Was just a bit concerned and didn't want to fit them if it wasn't normal.
