Brembos

I'm not going to lie - I am useless with cars, however, I recently bought a 197 which came with Brembos.

When I slow down from high speed, there is a lot of rattle in the steering wheel.

I've been told this is probably warped discs.

Now, my question is - because it's a brembo system, do I need brembo discs and pads (if so, where is the best place to get them from?) or is it just the calipers that are brembo?

Cheers guys.

The pads like to sieze in place in the calipers. Could just need a clean and re-fit :)

When it does it on mine, I do a couple of sets of heavy braking, then don't touch the brakes for a bit.

Then do some gradual consistent applied braking.

Sorts mine every time.

Use a drift and hammer to remove pins. Once out the retaining clip will pop out. Then rock the pad to push the piston in and the should lift out. I sanded my down just to get rid of the glassing on the pad. Just try and rough the surface of the pad up a little and inspect it for any damage.
