Brentacre Insurance

Car  audi a6 3.0tdi
Any one else with them? i like the way they work.

On the clio policy i can do what ever i like to the car and aslong as it doesn't go above 190bhp the premium will not increase. I thought that was a good way of working coz with Greenlight everytime i changed something they would charge a £25 admin fee which i thought was a bit unfair.

Never heard of them .Do you have to prove what bhp your car is producing ? Are they cheap ?

i heard about them through the vauxhall boys. they were the cheapest i could find but i wrote my car off a couple of months back so no one was really cheap. last year i paid £550 on the clio ph1 172 i'm paying £750 for another ph1 172 and for my vectra £650. the no claims is only mirrored onto the clio policy.

me and my bro are with them and have been for the last 4 year, cant recommend them enough, great company and the staff have always been very helpfull.
i too have got the for the fact i can do unlimited cosmetic mods and stuff like lowering etc, great for building a replica

i liked greenlight but they didn't like me when i smashed my old clio up. l hope they are as good. small companies ftw

yeah rang them up the number is on the internet. it would be worth while seeing how they compare to the likes of greenlight as i know greenlight was cheap in the past.

On the phone he said i can do any modifications i want as long as its not over 190bhp. at the minute i have listed
  • eibach sportlines
  • pipercross induction kit
  • blueflame catback exhaust
  • buckets seats
  • that its stripped out completly
probably won't end up doing anymore to it anyway. Its good to know i can mod the vectra as well as i was thinking about lowering it and possibly vxr 19 inch wheels if i get some pennies

Wont they still charge you a fee for adding mods to the policy? Even if it doesnt increase your premium, if you get me?

EDIT: Just looked on the website, no admin fee's. I wonder if their policys are pricey...

i can't really compare prices as i wrote my last car off 4 months ago so i expected to pay more than last year.

My insurance isn't due until July , but i'll definitely give em a bell . It'll be interesting to see how close they come compared to my renewal quote .

I'm with them have been very impressed so far. John was telling me what mods I should do next! Ive got the 200bhp limit which I will never reach but it was only £10 more than the 190bhp limit so I though what the hell!!

You can do whatever you want to the car as long as you do not go over your power limit. There's no admin charge for changing your policy or adding mods either which I think is brilliant.

do you have to be over 21 to be with them? and anyone had any exp[erience iwth crashes and how quickly they pay up/sort it all out?

andy
