Bridge Camera.....

Hi,

I'm wanting to buy a bridge camera as I can't really justify spending my money on a DSLR and then extra lenses.
I have a little point and shoot which is fine for the random photo but looking for something a little more capable when taking "decent" photos,

What would you buy under £200 (Cheaper the better)

Go for the lumix range if you are. Compact TZ. Bridge = FZ 38/45 ect..

I really don't know what are the better ones about at the minute or should I really just bite the bullet and go DSLR? Sure I could pick up a 2nd Hand D40x reasonable nowadays.

Fair enough. For that sort of price you wont get a brand new DSLR. Maybe second hand (if thats your thing).

Don't really know much about bridge cameras apart from Lumix are good!

Yeah I'm thinking buy 2nd hand and just get a better camera that way.

I got a D3000 with 18-55mm VR lens for £300 brand new.
