bridging

Car  v.cheapferrari
posting for a friend who wants to know how to bridge the following amp so that two subs can run off it

amp

subs

so how is it possible/done??

would the "500 W RMS x 1 @ 2 ohm" of the amp go down as there is now 2 @ 2 ohms instead of 1 @ 2ohm?? if this is the case, would a different/more powerful amp be better??

thanks alot for the time

if you get the d2 subs you will be fine but they will only get about 220w each

to connect them you need to wire the voice coils in series on the subs then connect them to the speaker terminals (mono amp so only one channel)
