I just ran a test, and here is my result:

Why is my upload speed so so low? This is affecting my FTP uploads in various situations. :S

Ideas?

that upload speed is normal, a dsl max circuit is 448k up for a standard circuit, or 832k up for a premium circuit.

My upload came out slightly under par on that checker too. Nothing wrong with the download though ;)

griff how are you finding that provider, I'm looking to change at the moment. Are they ok with torrents and stuff like that (not massive usage)

Looking at bethere as well if they will do my new area. Moving closer to the local exchange. Which is good for the net but as a result im moving back to where im from Bury :(

Just need to work out if i should keep eclipse or not. Unless they bring out an adsl2+ system then i will stay with them as there service has been excellent. Even when there expecting slow down i get a note in the post saying to expect it. With bulldog i just lost the connection for 2 days with s**t all reasons.

I've noticed that if I use WiFi instead of LAN, my d/l speed drops dramatically.

This could be due to my dinosaur router.

Fine mate. Being an LLU provider they're not quite as anal as your average BTW IPstream provider. No restrictions (port 25 aside) in place.
