Im sure you all know this car on here, I have known Mark for quite a few years via Jamsport.
He said the Clio could do with a good polish, so I set about it!

Getting a text off him mid week saying it was plastered in brake dust told me I was in for a treat LOL, he was'nt wrong :rasp:

Anyway, 9 hours work later and it was looking rather good!
I said I'd sort some decent pics out for him, so here it is

7:30am , bright and early on Saturday...

2 tone wheels!

Gave it a clay, this was from one door!

Brief outline of work done:

Degreased/washed to remove any wax/protection (dont think there was any though LOL!)
Wheels done with Bilberry wheel cleaner
Megs clay
Polished with Porter Cable, Menzerna PO85RD 3.02 and Sonus SFX-1 pad
Waxed/sealed with Collinite 476s
Thinly applied Turtlewax Extreme tyre gel (like it cause its not too shiny!)
AG Fast glass
AG Bumper care on the rear bumper black plastic insert

Yes, and a small brush

I used it mixed at 5:1, so can be used stronger if you want!
Its non acidic, so no damage
The pic of the brake dust/Bilberry running off the wheel was taken about 3 minutes after I sprayed it on, I had not even touched it with a brush at that point!

the before pics made the car look cleaner than it really was. not massivly into cleaning my car so im suprised how well its come up, the colour is so much better now! just need to find a touch up stick and sort out the chips on the door edges etc.

anyone know of a decent supplier for that, renault tell me its a discountiued item!?

Very true!
The thing is, it wasnt covered in mud and crap, it was more a case of brake dust etc just hiding the colour.
Even after just claying it the colour looked a lot lighter shade!

I forgot to post these two pics before, which was a scuff on the corner of the front bumper...

lack of time to clean it, abused daily, its my everyday run about and unfortunatly gets treated as one, with the occational track day thrown in for good measure!
