brushed aluminium splitter? is it bad idea??????

hi gang, rite im toying with the idea of making a small subtle brushed aluminium splitter for my iceburg 172?? is it a bad idea, was thinking its like a one off and it my compliment the door badges. id like your opinions before i do my nut trying to get the correct form on the rollers.

Would look OK on an iceburg but one stone or close encounter with a curb and it's ruined.

Bad idea, If your talking about the front splitter, Catch it on something or it falls off and punctures your tyres etc...

They're flexible for a reason imo.
