Great pics,looks like from the pics you were just down from me and the wife who watched all the races from Hill Top/Hislops....from the shaws entrance.

Ace Day out , ill get my pics up later , watched most the action from Lodge Deer leap where it was alot quieter than cascades and across the lake

Estimated 40,000 people there on Sunday though which is mighty impressive

Yes mate, I was based at Hilltop with my good lady and spent pretty much the whole day there. I was tempted to go wandering to try and find some better photography locations but gave up in the end after too many encounters with some real ignorant folks! LOL!

I'll have to be honest, as much as I love BTCC I found this round very... flat. Not boring... but not as exciting as usual. It was quite processional in the end and I was hoping for a little more of that magic that makes the BTCC such a good spectator sport (not just for the hardcore followers).

Me and the wife didnt move from 9.30 til 6.30pm,(apart from toilet break).We both got sizzled from the sun/wind...and then soaked from the downpour.To be fair we were going round to clay hill infield but realised it was too far to walk,glad we stayed were we did as all the action happened right in front of us.

Thanks mate. Sadly I no longer have the Vee as I dropped it back at Fred's last week (so he can do some Le Mans trip or something...) As a result I had to slum it in the Type-R!

Luckily I didn't burn thanks to my eastern-European roots/blood but my partner had to stay covered; being somewhat of a pale, English rose. Or however the saying goes. Alas, neither of us were protected from the downpour though and we got thoroughly soaked! With the weather being so good for 99% of the day the brolly and waterproofs stayed in the car. Big mistake. 4 hour drive home in wet clothes was the result and I'm still aching now! Glad you had a good day though!

Cheers Keith. I was fully planning on walking / wandering around the circuit. Obviously it didn't happen! I was supposed to be meeting several friends at the circuit but I just could not get a signal on my phone to call or contact them. When I spoke to them the next day it turns out they were near Hislops... so within a couple hundred yards of where I was for most of the day. Oh well. Hopefully catch you soon buddy!
