BTyahoo and IMAP email??

ok heres my issue, when i try to sync MS outlook with my bt account i get this error code -

Task '**********@btinternet.com - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210E) : 'Your mailbox is temporarily unavailable because another e-mail message is being delivered to it or another mail application is accessing it. The server responded: -ERR [IN-USE] maildrop busy.'


my nokia phone is also setup to sync with my bt account to receive mail.

if i turn the phone to off line mode and then try sync my MS outlook it works fine and the emails come through.

so im having issues with both my phone and computer syncing to the same mail account. ive been told i need to use IMAP, but i cant get it to work on MS outlook?

anyone help? i dont even know the different between pop3 and IMAP

BT doesn't support IMAP, I have mine setup like this:

PC is set to send/receive email but to leave a copy on the server for 24 hours
Phone is set to send/receive email and to leave copy on server

I have my phone to set to manual send/receive if that makes a diffence?

yes it would solve the problem completely.

but i like mine sent to S/R every 3 mins
