Bucket seat mounting

I've been offered a cobra imola at a good price from a friend. It includes side mounts, will these mount onto the original frames in the 72 or will I require something else to get it fitted? Cheers

To the best of my knowledge its generic side mounts but Im sure Dave will know better

I think its just generic side mounts, but it was in a 205iirc

I have read somewhere else on this forum that most of the time other frames are needed because of the Clio's floor plan.

I just picked up a couple of cheap seats and side mounts for my Mk1 Megane and I need a frame to mount the sidemounts too as they won't fit on the Megane's floor.

Well you will always be able to bodge it without subframes, using metal strips and butchering the floor. But for the sake of it just get some subframes to mount the sidemounts on. Means you wont have to drill the car to fit them too
