Was going to fit it without but havent time to make a frame as I need it done for next weeks track day.

Cheers

Hi I am at oulton on the 13th nov.
I think I want some of the x-low frames from cobra but I think they take a couple of weeks to do.
Have you fitted the ybracing ones yet?

x-low ones from cobra should be less then a week, it only takes them a day to make and can be ordered direct, or cheaper through someone like demon tweeks like i did.

Having spoken to Fred about it in detail, apparently Yozzasport do some pretty good ones.

Nearly tried to sell him my sister for the ones he has in his Vee...

and they're f**king horrible!

damn right, not the best welding (too fred's disgust :rasp:), and you have to cust out a slight bit of the inner interior sill as their bracket hasn't been made up properly! But.. at least it fits!

yeah that's the one, i don't really mind as that cover will be coming off soon anyways.

for quickness i'd recommend just getting the cobra x-low one then.

hi mate
thanks for the info i was going to get them via demon tweeks but because i have the gt version seat its too wide for the mounts
looks like i will have to make some up in work but to be fair £86 for a bit of bent metal is well steep.
also no reply from yozza - but not suprised

with the gt width ones, i think if i remember correctly you can have the x-low subframes but you need to buy the adaptor plates to go with them. can be done, just need the adaptor plates which allow for the gt width seats.

sorry for late reply yes i have fitted mine they are omp and fitted really well i used omp side mounts as well also supplied by yb racing arrived in 2 days

thanks - which seats are yours and do the frames mount the seat low or level with the tunnel side?

Thanks.
Fitted it today on the original cross members so don't need a frame I will put a picture up tommorrow.
