Bucket Seats

  Something Not French
I need advice on a good bucket seat. I basically looking to swap the driver seat (only) for a fixed back seat to lower the driving position.

Any recommendations on which seat? Side or base mount? Can the OEM seatbelt still be used?

I have a pair of Bimarco Futuras in mine, great seats, very supportive, comfortable and great on long drives (done a couple of 400mile stints without back ache)

What size are you? (Whether you would need 'gt' seats).

Also...any issues wirh your back and do you get uncomfortable on long journeys?
Plus, what is good for one isnt good for someone else. My advice is to get out there and try a few places and seats.

Thats a fair point, and I'm missed the main point of this exercise.

I'm 6'3", 34" waist. I just feel to high up in the car.

I would suggest using an omp subframe but you can cut and reweld it so that it sits about 2.5" lower.
Then you can get sidemounts and the bucket seat of your choice

As said above the futaras are really comfy. I don't think it's advisable to use the original seat-belts on bucket seats though?
