Budget sat nav's advice

  Rs Clio 172
I'm looking to buy a budget sat nav, it is only for occasional use within the uk only so the only feature I want really is for the route to be able to update and re route if wrong turns are taken etc.

cheapest end of the market seems to be Binatone R430 £49.99.

Or or spending a little more would get me a tom tom start classic for £71.99

so has anyone got experience of either? Or an alternative for similar prices?

If you have a smart phone you would be better off downloading one of the sat nav apps.

Navfree is decent

The sat nav is actually going to be a present for my dad, he's hopeless with phones so not an option for him, (although I've got nav free for iPhone and it's great)
