Building a 750MC Spec 182 for next season

  182, 205gti mk2 golf
Hi there, Were going to be building a 182 to run in the clio series next year. Just wanting to check that performance and chassis wise the age, spec and running gear on all the 182s are the same? the difference in suspension is not a problem obviously as they use spax coilovers

Any info will be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

My friend's car wasn't originally a cup packed car. So not sure if it'll have the CB22 chassis number. But he just bought some cup hubs and drive shafts etc then swapped it all over.

If he ever does well, there will be some pedantic billy that will lodge a complaint that he's not within regs.

Fair point, but going back to the OPs question, there are more differences between 182s and 182 cups, the front hubs are different, so changing to them will also be required to meet the regs. There are also new rules for 2014 requiring TD Pro race alloys and dunlop control tyres.
