Bumber paint peeled off!! :(

Some idiot in Tesco's car park has scrapped some paint off my rear bumper and driven off. The mark is the size of a 50p piece and goes straight down to the the plastic underneath.

Would I have to get the whole bumper resprayed, or can it just be covered up?

What would you guys recomend DIY, Mobile guy or spray shop?

if its down to the plastic chances are itll need to have a skim of filler too.

you can get it blown in, but id just get the whole bumper sprayed.

ive had this done to mine to which needs sorting paints just flaked off leaving plastic underneath

If you know anyone with a porter cable or rotary then get some touchup paint, put enough layers on so it sits above the rest of the pain, let it dry (obviously) wet sand it level and then porter cable until its back to a good condition. The previous owner managed to do the same to my car but the size about this big.. | | so for now i can leave it until i find the time.

Yeah definately needs sorting however I cant afford a full bumper respray think i might just have to get some quotes to have it blown in.

your gonna be looking at 60+ to have it blown in i would say, leave it till you can afford a proper job imo.
