bumped 182 clio

Car  Clio 182 LY + Cup packs
I had an old lady crash into my car last weekend, whilst it was parked outside my house. It needs a new passenger door.

Anyway dropped the car off at the dealers this morn who had arranged a third party to take care of things, as its a 'non fault' accident. This third party company is called Brittania, and basically take care of any claims that are not your fault, you do not have to pay a thing, and they give you a courtesy car to the same value as your own, to run about in while they carry out the repairs.

When i dropped the 182 off this morn there was a brand new Mini Cooper S waiting for me, only 250miles on the clock. Im well Chuffed, what great service.

IMO they are so much better to drive than the 182, and hardly any less power.

can you use that britannia no matter who your insured with then??

im guessing theyre like a 'no win no fee solicitor'
i.e. they just claim all their courtesy car bills, expenses and fees back off the other company along with your repair bills.

does that also mean you dont have to inform your own insurance so wont loose any no claims like you would normally until they had succesfully claimed everything back off the third party

If i give you my address can you arrange for the old lady to bump my door so i can have a blast in a Cooper S while waiting for the repairs to be done !

LOL,

Yeah i think they are like a no win no fee type of organisation. I have not had to give them any details about my insurance, and they have insured me on the courtesy car themselves. I had never heard of them before, but the Renault dealership near me put me onto them.

Its a great service for those who have none fault accidents. Theres no way they could have blaimed me anyway coz i was sat inside watching TV when she crashed into my car, lol

Maybe a forum moderator would like to put the above details on the forum somewhere, for future reference?
