bumped clio :(

I was working yesterday when my mum phoned to say someone had hit my car at the front.My first thoughts were head on crash write off but when i got home and seen it its not as bad as first thought. Basically the guy was in a rush to go to the airport to get home (he was from Sweeden) and my street is really tight, a bus came passed and instead of letting the bus through he tried to squeeze beside it running his hired car right along the side of mine scratching it and knocking my front bumper off cars been picked up today off to the garage to get estimated/repaired just gutted had fallen out of love with it for a while over the winter washed it for the first time since november the other week and im in love with her again and then this happens. Here are some pictures of the car.

yeh they stopped and i was thankfull to that i guess he kinda had to though since his was a hired car, nah never had a 172 bumper nearly bought one not that long ago though so thank god i put it on hold for a bit. i was glad my lights weren't damaged because they are not declared on my policy and wouldnt have got them back

i have a 400 pound excess so i gotta pay that until his insurance accept liability which he has already done so will need to wait and find out.

Shame, it's a tidy motor! Not too complicated a job though, decent enough bodyshop and it'll be good as new when it's back. Only problem may be the matt finish sidestrip.

Least its not a write off! Is the bumper still whole or all cracked ? and thank fok he stopped, very decent of him. But the buses are a nightmare there.

When its in the garage take advantage and ask if they can maybe see to the other bits and bobs that you wanted done! Sooner you get that garage the better x

Yeah ben i know hope the garage is done soon, well the bumper is fine but the clips r snaped off on it and needs a wee polish but its in the car at the garage so theyll probably keep it, gutted though you down next week ill probs not even have it back for then.
