burning dvds?

just wanna create a dvd with all the albums off my computer on it so i can play in the dvd player but computer says discs arent compatible???

my dvd drive says dvd R/RW and i just plonked in 2 discs one at a time which are maxell dvd-R 1-16x speed?the drive is an nec dvd+-RW ND-6500A

any ideas?

what type of albums, music files, to play in your DVD player attached to your TV?

yes sir, all the mp3s on my computer think around 15gb i no u can only get around 5gbs per disc, but gonna buy a separate dvd player to link to my stereo!

..and your DVD player supports MP3 playback?

in nero have u got it selected as dvd for the disc type at the top

From memory it is just..

1 - choose dvd rom/iso
2 - drag n drop in your mp3’s
3 - burn
4 - play in dvd player

Also check if there are more recent drivers for you DVD burner.

all dvd players play mp3s dont they mate, well all the ones ive owned have!
yeah selected dvd at the top it starts to do summit then says compatibility withthe discs is wrong

No not all, some needed to be converted from MP3 format to AC3 format. This was a while ago mind, i ended up buying a 60GB Ipod with Itrip, then just backed up all my files to a cheap external HD

There might be a problem with that version of Nero, out of date/corrupt drivers, dodgy disks..
