Burning smell from new exhaust?

Just had my decat ktec cat back fitted, slight burning smell when I stopped, is that normal for a brand new exhaust?

It's a clio 200 by the way.

yes, not uncommon for them to whiff when they get warm for the first couple of times! New exhaust smell, like new car but different!

Yeah, all 3 of the cars i've owned from new have done this.

That's what I like to hear it kinda smells like scalextric after you've used it for ages. I like it too!

Well it didn't blow up and the smell has gone. But the tips are rattling slightly now
