Burning smell...

I was driving to work this morning and started to smell plastic buring/melting. Couldnt see smoke or anything, assumed it was outside. When driving home, notice the smell again. Started to get worried. Luckily I was home v quickly. Having checked under the bonnet etc, I looked underneath the car and found a plastic bag melted to the outside of my cta converter!
Anythin to worry about?

had that on my 205. Never got it all off. stank until I changed the exhaust

Try picking up some rotting badger on it. Now there is a stench I never forget. New exhaust sorted it...

This happened on my old golf. Was really bad and can even remember it was an orange sainsburys bag . Happen about 5 months later and no bag was found, 2 miles later my alternater belt caught fire and snapped. Stupid thing must have been major slipping
