bush that comes with valeo clutch

  monaco 172
My valeo clutch kit just arrived from Maynard.

Question is it came with a bush that looks to press into the flywheel. It pictures a tool and a rubber hammer to nock it in.

Is the tool in the picture the blue plastic shaft that came in the box or is that only to help align the disk?

What's the best tool to tap the bush into the flywheel with ?

Or just rip out the old one and gently tap the new one into the flywheel with a rubber hammer?

As Dan said.

Means your car's not on the original clutch also.

Tbh, I don't bother fitting the centraliser. Just centre it by eye with the tool or a 6" 1/2" extension.

No idea, I haven't got the box off yet Lol!

Ah I see what your saying, so its just to help with centralising the plate and there probably won't already be one there because I'm on the original.

Yep. If you're not at that stage yet, tapping the bush in is the least of your worries. ;)

Any old hammer will do tbh.
