S1 16v 106 Rallye
Hi, I recently bought my 172 and every now and again (I can't quite pinpoint when it does it - seems to do it randomly every now and again when I put my foot down into a bend - could be a coincidence though!)
It's a strange noise. At first I thoguht it sounded electrical but now I think it's mechanical, like.. sounds like once when my mates engine mount snapped in his 205 and he had to limp it back home and every bump the alternator would shave aginst the radiator and make a similar noise.
Only does it for 2-3 seconds. Random lengths. Really hard to explain. Any ideas?
