Buying a 172 - Advice Needed Please!

After a two year absence (due to financial constraints and a Calibra!), I have decided to opt for another Clio. I would ideally like a 172 cup but will probably settle for a mk2 ph2 172.

What are the main things to look out for when inspecting a car? how often should the cambelt be changed?

70k or 5 yr for cambelt but its not as bad as you think k tec will chance them for 350 think renault ask twice that
