Buying a 172 - advice needed!

Currently got an 03 1.2 Dynamique 16v but am looking to move to a 172 (not cup though - like my toys ).

Any ideas on price, miles, things to look out for? Probably looking at a 52 plate. If it helps at all, Im likely to be going for a dealer exchange if I do change.

All help and advice appreciated as Id like to get this right.... now if only they ever did the damn things in Vertigo Green!!

52 plates are ~£7.5~8k I think.

Your cars probably worth 5k trade in so its not a huge cost jump.

They did the Mk1 172 in green as a special edition version called the exclusive in green only 72 of theme were made but they dont seem to be worth any more.

yeah bout £8k they should be priced at, obivisously lower mileage and a bit better looked ater will cost a bit more. Do a quick search on autotrader and have a look what comes up.

(i agree in principal, although someone did clean mine yesterday, i obviously wanted it to remain brown)
