Hi everyone, my type r went today and i should be picking up a 52reg cup on tuesday, As with every car iv owned i will be modding. Im after some info on the best mods to get me started and any places in the northwest to get them done

I'm more a fan of keeping a car standard, but each to their own.

You'll enjoy the Cup no end though, it's great to drive and none of the 'lag' of the V-Tec

Liking that Type-R. Just out of interest, how come you've sold the Civic for the Cup?

Gave it back to the finance company on the halves rule so im going to be saving £250 a month with the difference in that and insurance. I love type r's but iv had 3 of them so i didnt want to get another one and plus they dont do them in blue lol

Upgrade the brakes. Replace front seats for buckets. Strip the car. Drive to a track = Done!

Yeah best mod to do to the Cup is change the seats as they are poor! Trophy recaros are nicest choice in my opinion if you are feeling flush!

Seats, Coilovers, decent brakes.

Just put a deposit down an will be picking it up on wed. It is a completely different animal to the type r and normal 172's iv driven. Much more raw which i love. Seats are gonna be the first thing i change defo. Just need to find some
