I thought they were about 220bhp not 192??? Or am I missing the point entirely. lol
yeah there are two power outputs from essentially the same engine (plus another port) 192 and 231 ps

the 192 has slightly higer torque at 220NM verses the 231s 211NM - plus theres £2000 price difference, so I got leather instead!!:D

Personally not touch a 192, way to slow.
Dont feel slow at all, and I can only go upto 5,500 rpm whilst running in - with the odd visit north of that.

Book figure is 7.2 to 62, with the 231 coming in at 6.4 - but the difference in torque means the 192s 220NM give it a better mid-range than the 231, You get a 6 speed box on the 213 with xenons - but 2 grands 2 grand.

Handlins is SUPERB! feels extremely well planted - LSD aswell!

Running on 18" rims, they are fookin huge!! Tyre change time is gonna be interesting!

is 192 the daily petrol bill? ;)
no, its £19.20 ;) - depends how you drive it - drive it like a granny and you should see 25mpg!!

RX8 is so nice!!! One of my favourite!!! 192bhp??? I thought there are onlt 2 versions - one at 210 and one at 250bhp version in 6-speed manual???

Even torque is a problem for this rotary engine car, but still want one!!!

I think a more powerful version of RX8 will release next year.

For the UK market they are 192 and 231 ps - dont know about elsewhere USA???

tbh I am still "running in" so havent got a true feel for the cars performance, but it aint gutless thats for sure!!

a more powerful rotary would be a really wallet scaring thought!! my mpgs bad enough!!

actually i dont like the sound that much it does scream but its thin and reedy even with a sports exhaust like this...

compared with something like this of a simular price...

http://rapidshare.de/files/2924953/2004R32.mov.htmlhttp://rapidshare.de/files/2924953/2004R32.mov.html

still really nice looking cars. well built but drink oil like nothing else and do 21mpg average. . but look out in future there gonna be cheap as chips to buy due to high running / servicing costs.

so i agree looks mint sounds OK. Goes OK. Loverly Interior + sound system also has nice Gearbox but its not my kind of sound tbh.

Nice car but I owned one in a Williams.

Depends on what you want I guess.
Well it was a compromise between me and my wife - I wanted a feckin monster, she didnt want owt that looked like my clio - to boy racerish in her opinion (as was the VX220 and the elise we look at ).

choice is very limited when you need to meet so many criteria - fast(ish), stylish, able to seat 4, reliable.

If id have had my way, id be sat in a caterham right now!
