ill have a look for number plates tonight, i also have a touch up stick and maybe another locking wheel nut ket but that may have gone now :s

ha ha ha, Its on studs now laura not bolts so i wouldnt go out your way for the locking wheel nut key.
There was nowt under the sticker its just a clean spot so im going to have to go and get it dirty now, and you have nooooooooo chance of driving it lol non at all because its going off road soon as I can't afford the insurance due to the bike accident. No monies
And it needs a proper mapping session, I dont think GDI did a very good job tbh... boggy low down and over fueling on full load with pops bangs and flames and black smoke yummy.

tbh i drove it stortly after the conversion and it was pretty sweet then, its been through a few hands sinse so anything could have happened. shes had a hard life bless her
its ok i can afford to insure it... just give her back to me and ill drive it untill your ready to insure it haha...

ITB'd MK1
It's had the cambelt messed with since it was mapped. It was fast last time i saw it so something's been messed about with and cocked up. Bet you the cam timing is well out

Nope, its just the mapping is shockingly s**te. I'll get it setup properly when I'm back at work. Its a friggin right c**t at the moment on cold starts.
And thanks again Jord for giving us a lift checking the timing, I've moved the filter away from the trumpets as well now. Sorted the front bumper out and removed the carbon canistor. Tell ya what the s**t legs not happy about working on cars. Helped my mate strip down his RS2000 engined escort cab as the core plug has spung a leak. ohhhhh to have dirty hands again

maps dont go out of whack, if it used to be fine and now its not something has changed, have you balanced the bodies recently?
I've only just bought it, adey, a few people have said it was fast, and right etc but, To me its slow and isnt as revvy as I'd like. Takes at least 5 starts at the moment to get it to idle when cold. It starts pops, farts and cuts out. and continues to do this until its warm. You can hear the backfire through the inlet
Once warm it pops and flames on over run and kicks out black smoke when really opening it up... Im used to an evo 5 and then a zx6r b1h so its never in a million years going to feel like a bike. Its also f**king useless around town as you need to get the revs to around 2k for it to pull away smoothly. These little problems do not bother me for the price i paid for it, but I really wouldnt go out my way to get an ITB'd clio 172. Its just a massive pain in the arse. I dont think the clutch has been changed for anything other than standard.
It cannot be anything but the map tbh, as it should be smooth and useable at any RPM range. I know maps do not go out of whack as its a written program *if thats the correct term* Like you say adey the Bodies could need balancing but I cannot afford to do so until im back at work.
A friend loves it however, and says it goes well and is faster than his 172 ph1. . . It needs a rollin road session and a good check over from somebody who knows their ITB setups and the f4r engine. either that or im going to have to go to uni and get a degree in this shizzle and sort it myself. lol.

so do you know if it used to behave like it? go to a local old school garage if you have any near you, they should have the kit to check its all ballanced up. would be my first port of call, then if its still shocking id check things like spark plugs and leads, then if its still w**k off to rs or sim to get it checked over
I have no idea how it used to perform at all adey, I think laura needs to come down and have a passenger ride. lol...
I think the place in bury who used to do a lot of weber servicing is still open, I may nip over there. Plugs and leads are less than a few k old.
