Cabasse stereo

Forgive the dumbass question - i thought i knew all there was to know about 182 spec's...... but what is the Cabasse stereo and is it standard on all fat 182's?

Yes it is standard in all FF 182's..I don't know the difference between Cabasse and other Renault Stereo's. Doesn't bother me too much. As long as it works, i'm happy!

I don't think it has any extra functions but it has a 4x40w amp instead of the usual 4x22w amp found in other Renault headunits..

It's a little confusing. Mine has less features than the standard one in the wife's new Megane (even though they look identical apart from the badge)and doesn't sound as good either. Cabasse is actually French for 'Donkey Shite'.

Mine sounds and looks exactly the same as the headunit in my old ff 172 except the 172 said tuner list on it the cabasse says update list :S

Plus i think the speakers are different in a cup to a ff , correct me if im wrong !
