CAF Ducting split

  dCi 65 + C2 (<Sold)
Just noticed this on my DCi 65, currently held together with duct tape.

Where can I pick up some new ducting? Cheap as possible without being awful.

Cheers.

Note: I don't want to relocate the CAF, just replace the ducting. :)

I've looked on Halfrauds website and they've got shitty Ripspeed pisch which looks like a tumble drier thing or Pipercross ducting, which is £25. That good?

Aye that's the one Alex. Don't really want to pay that much though!

Can anybody point me in the right direction (i.e make etc)?

Thanks!

Not just now, wanted to get it ordered atm, but I'm in work and the car is in the car park, and I don't have a measuring tape.

take a healthy guess, but overestimate then you can always cut it down or compress it.

If it helps my last purchase of CAF was about 1m

funny mines been in half where the CAF meets the fuse box, since i got it, it just sits there always thought it was ment to be this way as theres not obvious way to join the 2 parts as the CAF is flexible whereas the bit that goes down past the fusebox etc seems to be harder material... has mine split too as i cant get close enough to see if its 2 parts or a split..?

^ Just take that whole pipe off, thats what ive done when mine broke. It points away from the engine on the side anyway so very little heat soak and you will get a nice noise. Any benefit of that pipe is removed when it goes through the acustic valve below the headlight so you dont loose anything.

Didn't go for a direct replacement lol went for £10 flexible ducting off ebay instead. Forgot my ghey standard airbox has a f*cking oval fitting, not circular. FAIL. So anyway I fitted it (with some struggle! and duct tape), relocated it, and it sounds better than the old, split one at least.

If and when this no doubt fails, where can I get CAF ducting with an oval end?
