Caliper questions

  Ph1 T
My brakes need bleeding and new fluid now I went to undo the line from the caliber it turns about one turn then all the line just twists with it. So how do you remove the line?

Also the rubber thing in the calliper not sure what its called but that's split does that make any difference to the working of the brakes?

Dan

You need to remove the calliper and twist the calliper off the line. Easiest way. And the rubber boot thing is a dust cover, ideally you want it to be intact as it stops dirt and debris attacking the piston and causing it to seize. Jon

Bleed from the nipple, if you are changing lines undo the end in the arch first then the caliper and reversal when fitting
