Brake caliper refurbs up in Rochdale. Done 4 sets for me now.
They look stunning
Pair of Brembos at BCS was £240 in any colour with new seals and bleed screws.
Wilwood 6 pots were about 280 as I needed 2 new pistons.
He quoted me £200 ish I think for redoing my single piston rears.
That seems like an awful lot of money to me Jonnio… can’t be much more buying brand new standard callipers.
A friend of mine picked up his resprayed Porsche 911 alloys and brake the calipers to go with that for a similar price.I've already been quoted by BCS (Nottingham), £450 Inc VAT for all four single piston calipers in their standard colour range with lifetime warranty.
Premium colours it goes up to £126 per caliper for paint, nearly doubling the quote...guessing custom colours are higher still. Seemed like a big jump when surely the amount of work would be similar? 🤔
Hence the thread. Would just send the front pair in and worry about the rears later if that's what it costs. 😅
Was that recent? Seems a fair bit different different to what I got back. 😅
Or was that the Rochdale place you meant?
Aye did seem a bit much for some shitty pauper calipers.
I'm also going to have mine done soon-ish. SSL Autoparts on eBay is top of my list, price seems good. Anyone here used them?
Looks spot on, I'll be going for silver as well. Thanks.Hi
Mine have just had a full refurb with them £250 cash as I dropped them off ( Only live 5 minutes away)

@Jonnio calipers are very easy to diy refub, especially single piston calipers.
Buy seals, pistons (if you even need them), clips, slides, slide dust covers, stainless bleed nipples from Bigg red. Normally under £40 pet pair for everything.
Pistons pop out with an airline, pull seals out with a pick/needle pliers.
First set I dipped in citric acid overnight, then used a wire wheel to clean them up before painting. Second set I sand blast then zinc plated.
For £450 I would absolutely be doing them myself.
I'll let you into a little secret, these were who I was going to use but got an email from Max at M.S Custom... his price was better by quite a bit alsoI'm also going to have mine done soon-ish. SSL Autoparts on eBay is top of my list, price seems good. Anyone here used them?
