Call me a sheep if you want!

Not that bad to be honest. Couldn't see it very well in the dark.
Here are a couple of pics:

The guy was going to drive off and would have got away with it had my mates not turned up and saw him do it. They blocked him from leaving and told him to leave his details!
Now what do you reckon I should do? A bit of plastic under the arch has snapped and was rubbing on the wheel with 4 people in the car but was ok with only 2.
The guy wants to pay cash and not go through the insurance. I understand why he wants to do that as its only minor but I'm not sure cos it could be hassle? Plus i'd have to waste my time going and getting a quote etc.
What would you guys do?

BE quicker not going through the insurance. Although he was gona drive away so maybe he deserves to lose any no claims bonus he has

Just had a quote at a place down the road. £320-330 so thats not too bad. Free courtesy car as well. Hopefully the guy will be happy with that and just pay me. Otherwise its the insurance.

Do what you're doing, go get quotes, take his cash then go get it fixed. Don't go through insurance unless you really have to, it can take ages if he starts to be a tw*t about it.
DO NOT just go for the cheapest quote either, I see it all the time people going for cheap bodyshops and having to get it re-done at a more expensive one.

Oh and car looks spot on, who cares if people say you are a sheep, a lot of people do those mods for a reason:)

I wouldn't say your a sheep for this car, it looks fantastic with the black turini's.

Imo it needs to be lower though, coilies needed.

Yeah I'd love to have it lower myself but I don't want it to be a bone shaker and I'd rather spend the money on a few trackdays instead :)

Oh mate thats well unlucky. Go to a good body shop and get it done perfectly, if he dont like the price then say fine i'l go through the insurance :)
