cam belt change

hi i bough my clio 172 a few months ago qnd it is now due a timing belt change i am a aprent mechanic and my dad is a mechanic but neither of us have done 1 before. a friend told me i have to take the engine out to do it as u can not get to the belt just wondered if there was anyone that has done the job before?

100% not an engine out job. you do need about £160 worth of locking tools though. dont buy non genuine tools, they're made of cheese and bend
