cam belt

i got a 172 02 version,

just wondering when i will need to have a new cambelt on its got about 25,000 miles on it,

if anyone could give me any info i will be most thankful

my customer hand book says at 72k, but thats for a 1.2 16v, not sure if the 172/182 is at difrent miles, either way i think ur safe for a bit.

mines on 83k atm, and as far as i can tell it hasnt had a new 1 at all, and seeing as how the last full service was at 30k i think its gotta be a priority, that and sum decent cleaning gear.

got it booked in today at a local garage, sadly u have to buy as a kit not, not just the belt so with lavour and vat it comes to bout £230, ouch, but its either that or the cost of another engine i spose
